1. Purpose

NUYU provides a digital business card with an AI-generated video avatar and conversational assistant.

2. Account

You are responsible for the accuracy of published information and the confidentiality of your credentials. Individual plans include one card per account.

3. Avatar and assistant

You may only generate an avatar from your own face and voice. Impersonation results in immediate account closure. Every card clearly states that its avatar and assistant are AI-generated.

4. Pricing and payment

The account is free and the card is offered for 30 days; activating it afterwards costs 10,000 FCFA per year per card (15,000 FCFA for a company card). Only publishing a product or service catalogue requires the Pro plan: 15,000 FCFA per year (about €23 or $25), unlimited catalogue included. Company offers are quoted individually and invoiced through Paddle.

Payments are accepted by bank card and, in West Africa, by Mobile Money (Wave, Orange Money, MTN) through Neosurf. Payment, billing, tax, cancellation and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms: https://www.paddle.com/legal/checkout-buyer-terms. A 30-day money-back guarantee applies, as described in our refund policy.

4a. Merchant of Record

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

5. Consent

When creating the account, the individual or company expressly accepts these terms, the privacy policy and the cookie policy. Two separate consents are then requested inside your account: generating the video avatar and voice from your image and voice, and publishing your card in the public showcase. Each can be withdrawn at any time, without justification, from your account.

6. Company accounts

A company inviting its staff declares that it has their prior agreement to create their card and, where applicable, their avatar. Each member keeps control of their own profile and may deactivate or delete it. The company remains responsible for the content it publishes through the company assistant and its catalogue.

7. Prohibited content

Prohibited: using a third party's face, voice, name or brand without permission; unlawful, misleading or hateful content; and using the assistant to send bulk solicitations. We may suspend a reported card while we verify it.

8. Liability

Assistant responses are generated automatically from the information on your card. They do not constitute a contractual commitment by you or by us.

9. Termination and governing law

You may delete your card and account at any time from your account area; data is erased within 30 days. These terms are governed by Estonian law, the publisher being Goldenseal OÜ (Tallinn). Any significant change is notified to you by email before it takes effect.
